Minutes of the LII Section meeting held on 14^th August 2006.

Present: G. Arduini, S. Aumon, G. Bellodi, R. Bruce, C. Carli, M. Chanel, S. Gilardoni, G. Smirnov.

General Information (G. Arduini)

The group meeting will take place either on 21^st September or 28^th September 2006. The main subjects that will be addressed are:

• the outcome of the November 2005 Departmental review and the staff planning,
• the new contract policy at CERN.

A discussion on how the group might be best configured for LHC running will be also started. Feedback from the Section Members is very welcome.

An overview of the activities in the Sections will be given by each Section Leader.
